These terms govern your use of MotorLedger. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use MotorLedger.
1. The service
MotorLedger is a SaaS platform for independent car traders covering stock, leads, sales, documents, compliance, dealer websites and related functions. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Accounts
You must be 18+, provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account and for any team members you invite.
3. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activity.
- No interference with the service, security or other users.
- No scraping, reselling or reverse-engineering the platform.
- Comply with UK consumer law, DPA 2018, UK GDPR and HMRC obligations applicable to your business.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of all business data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display it solely to operate the service for you. Privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy.
5. Fees
Some plans are paid. Fees, billing cycle and taxes are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We may change pricing on 30 days’ notice for the next renewal.
6. Suspension & termination
You may cancel any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, threaten the service, or remain unpaid. On termination we will retain or delete data per the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your account in-app at Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, your memberships and any workspace you solely own. The action cannot be undone.
8. Disclaimer
MotorLedger is provided “as is”. We do not provide legal, tax or accounting advice. Generated documents and HMRC exports are tools — you remain responsible for accuracy and submission.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, goodwill or data. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
